Easy Falafel Recipe

I am facing problems in making this vegan falafel recipe. I thought it would work after some time but it didn’t. Then I decided to do proper research on this recipe and find the causes behind my failures.

The problem I faced is that the better for vegaaninen falafel was not making balls that are not properly frying. After some hard work I finally made a falafel balls vegan.

What is falafel made of​?

Falafel are balls or patties like structures that are made after deep frying. Vegansk falafel is healthy or made up of beans and peas. You can make the balls​ using the given ingredients.

Ingredients for recipe are as follows: 

1 small onion

7-8 cloves of garlic

2-3 green chillies

1 bunch of fresh coriander

1 cup of chickpeas (soaked overnight)

3-4 tablespoons of roasted sesame seeds

1 tablespoon of crushed coriander seeds

½ teaspoon of baking powder

1 teaspoon of dried oregano

1 tablespoon of roasted and crushed cumin seeds

Half tablespoon of pink salt (or to taste)

1 teaspoon of black pepper powder

1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

Instructions for air fryer balls are as follows:

1. Prepare the Mixture

First, put the following into a chopper:

  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Green chillies
  • Fresh coriander
  • Chickpeas
  • Sesame seeds
  • Coriander seeds
  • Baking powder
  • Dried oregano
  • Cumin seeds
  • Pink salt
  • Black pepper powder
  • Lemon juice

Chop everything well until it is a fine mix.

2. Knead the Mixture

 Mix it for 2-3 minutes. It helps ingredients to stick together.

3. Shape it

Grab a small amount of the mixture (about 45g). Softly press it to make an oval-shaped is falafel vegan.

4. Fry it

Heat cooking oil in a pan. Fry it over medium-low heat until they become golden brown.

5. Serve and Enjoy

Serve your balls with:
